SCORE Seminar - How to Start a Small Business

This SCORE Chester County seminar is designed to familiarize entrepeneurs with the concepts and terminology needed in the start-up and daily operations of a small business. Presenter Frank Farmer Jr is a graduate of Widener School of Law and has practiced law since since 1980. His practice concentrates in the area of small business transactions. National Dialogue on Mental Health Workshop

People are finally talking about mental health. What would you like to say about it? The conversation will include the importance of good mental health, prevention strategies for mental health concerns, and practical information to support others and ourselves. Library Board to Meet April 29
The Library Board of Trustees will meet on Tuesday, April 29 this month, instead of the usual third Tuesday of the Month. The April 29 meeting will be at 7 p.m. at The Market at Liberty Place, 148 West State Street in Kennett Square. For more information email dmurray@ccls.org

Wrapping up our Community Read Program series, the library will host Susan Charkes, author of AMC’s Best Day Hikes Near Philadelphia and a passionate advocate for the enjoyment and conservations of the outdoors. Celebrate Earth Day with the library and Susan as she discusses how Aldo Leopold’s theories on Land Ethic can be incorporated in enjoying some great hikes in our area. After our discussion, come join Susan again on Saturday, April 26 at 1 p.m. for an ethical hike at ChesLen Preserve.
