Lecture - "The Causes of the Great War : Why Would They Do That?"
Wednesday, Oct 22 at 6 pm

Historian, lecturer, and teacher Roger Arthur will join us at the library for a discussion on the causes of the Great War. Based on "The War That Ended Peace : The Road to 1914" by Margaret McMillan and "The Guns of August" by Barbara Tuchman, this lecture tries to answer the question "Why Would the Europeans give up almost 100 years of relative peace?"

SCORE Chester County Seminar - "Product, Price, Placement, and Promotion of Your Business"

This presentation will examine the important aspects of marketing your business - product, price, placement, and promotion. The strategic manipulation of these components to achieve the overall objectives of your business will be discussed. Computer Basics for Adults
Class Begins Saturday Oct 18
Join us at the library to learn the basics of using a computer and the internet. Topics covered include hardware, word processing, email, and internet searching. The class will meet on alternating Thursdays from 5 to 6 pm or on alternating Saturdays from 10 am until 12 pm. The class will run for 4 weeks. The Write Group
A writer's support group for anyone with a serious interest in writing meets at 6:30 pm on second and fourth Tuesdays this fall at the library. All meetings are free.
